Cultivator KPN-4.2 (Inter-row mounted cultivator). The six-row cultivator is designed for inter-row cultivation, destruction of the soil crust and elimination of weeds in wide-row crops of corn and sunflower.
The possibility of adjusting the row spacing from 45 cm to 75 cm, which is carried out by convenient movement of the racks without bolted connections.
The cultivator has a frame with a clearance of 70 cm, which ensures high productivity even on tall crops. The inter-row processing interval can be easily adjusted by moving the working section block along the frame.
A section with five 150 mm wide arrow feet is used for early spring loosening of young crops with 100% overlap of the inter-row space.
The working sections are attached to the frame using a parallelogram, thanks to which the unit perfectly copies the topography of the field and precisely observes the set working depth.
The parallelogram on the working section is mounted on silent blocks, they set the auxiliary pressure force on the section during work and ensure the preservation of the specified depth even in extremely difficult working conditions of the cultivator.
Salent blocks installed on a section do not require additional maintenance and lubrication, in contrast to ordinary ball joints and bearing joints.
The working depth of each section is set using a manual screw mechanism. The working depth can be set from +2 to -9 cm.
In addition, each section has a rear rack with a foot, which also has the possibility of depth adjustment from -2 to +4 cm (this is especially important for sections that are behind the tractor wheels and have to work with more compacted soil)
It is also possible to add additional equipment to the sections, namely protective boards or shields to protect the crop during the first cultivations, rear hoods for leveling the inter-row space and closing moisture after passing through the section of the cultivator.
Or a leveling roller for breaking up lumps between rows.
The cultivator can be equipped with equipment for applying liquid fertilizers during the cultivation process.
