Buy a box plow

One of the most important stages in preparing a field for sowing grain, legumes and industrial crops is plowing. This process significantly determines the success of the future harvest. The body plow is designed for cultivating soil for grain and industrial crops to a depth of 35 cm, and it Particularly effective in fields with minimal stones or other obstructions.

This type of plow consists of several main components, such as working parts (body, skimmer, knife) mounted on a frame with a mechanism for adjusting the support wheel, and attachments for connecting to the tractor.

The quality of soil cultivation with a body plow depends on the shape of the ploughshare and moldboard. Shares can be trapezoidal, chisel or toothed, each designed for specific soil types and working conditions.

Classification of body plows

Body plows are classified according to several criteria, including purpose (general or special), type of traction (horse, tractor, rope), method of aggregation with a tractor (mounted, trailed, semi-trailer), design and number of bodies.

General purpose plows, also known as plowshares, usually have a designation that indicates the method of assembly and the number of bodies. For example, PLN-5-35 means a mounted plow with five bodies and a working width of each body of 35 cm.

  • Special plows are designed for use on rocky soils, orchards, forests or vineyards.
  • Horse-drawn plows are used in small areas where using a tractor is not practical, while cable-drawn plows are often used in mountainous or swampy areas.
  • The width of general purpose plow bodies can vary from 25 to 40 cm, while for special plows this width ranges from 45 to 100 cm.
  • Body plows can have different types of bodies, such as mouldboard, moldless, disc, cut-out or combined.

When choosing a box plow, the price depends on the manufacturer, the number of bodies and the features of the model. Our company will help you choose the optimal model, taking into account the needs of your enterprise, and will also provide additional sets of working parts, spare parts and equipment upon your request.
